Welcome to Millstreet International Horse Trials 2025 – Celebrating our 10th Birthday!
We’re here to make your visit to Millstreet as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Below, you’ll find some helpful information to guide you during your visit.

Examination on arrival for horses taking part in International events :
- Identification (micro-chip, passport)
- Vaccination check
- Clinical examination with thermometer
- Entry of the horse in the FEI Horse App with recording of the measured temperature
- Temperature must be taken for the 3 days prior to arrival at the competition, data to be entered in the FEI Horse App
- Health certification check (FEI Horse App).
- The temperature must be taken twice a day and entered into the FEI Horse App during the competition.
If the arrival examination of a horse raises any concerns with the veterinary department, the FEI Vet may quarantine the horse—along with any others that travelled in the same vehicle—in designated isolation boxes within the national or international stables at Millstreet. In the most serious cases, entry to the competition venue may be denied
For riders competing in international and national events, grouping is only accepted if :
Horses accompanying (transit) or running in national events can be accepted in FEI boxes, provided they are vaccinated like a horse running in FEI (i.e. booster less than 6 months + 21 days and more than 7 days old) AND are registered with an FEI number AND tracked in the Horse App: if and only if they are ridden by the rider running in FEI with other horses.

Stabling :
Stabling is included with all international entries. National Stables can be booked for Burghley Young Event Horse Class entrants only via eventing Ireland. Stabling requests should be submitted at the time of entry. All requests will be carefully considered, and every effort will be made to accommodate everyoneodate everyone.
When you arrive on the site, follow the signs that will show you all the Electric Hook Up parking. Stewards will advise you on where to park. Non-cooperation with grounds staff will not be tolerated by the Organising Committee. Electric Hook Up is only available at the time of entry.
Once on site, you will bring your horses to the indoor arena adjacent to the event office. Here you will be met by the FEI Veterinarians who will perform all the necessary checks. Once all that is complete, the stable managers will direct you to your stabling. Please be patient & co-operativein this process, it is a very busy time of the event. All riders must bring their own thermometer.
All stables have been cleaned and disinfected prior to the event. They will come with fresh shavings. Additional Shavings are available to purchase throughout the week at €12 per bale.
Tokens are to be purchased at the event office & given to the stable manager to be redeemed.
Rider access:
CCI4*L stabling block will be under strict wristband access only following the 1st Horse Inspection. Wristbands, head numbers & bib numbers will be available at stable check in once passports are handed in. Passports are kept securely by the OC for the duration of competition.
Welcome-pack :
Don’t forget to collect your rider welcome-packs at stable check in too. Sponsored by Conolly’s RED MILLS, Foran Equine & Carr & Day & Martin.

Passports:
Passports will be handed in at the Vet Check in prior to entering the stables. If you are in a short format class and not stabling on site. Please bring your passport to the event office prior to the first phase. Passports are securley stored for the duration of the competition.
Bibs and headbands :
Will be avaiable for collection at Veterinary Check in.
Ice:
Ice will be available from the event office adjacent to the stable yard. Water will be available at the cross country finish. Boots can be stored in freezers in the event office. Due to a high number of entrants and demand for freezer use, it would be helful for competitors to make their own provisions if possible.

Maps are available on the cross country app once all courses are deemed open by Ground Jury & TDs
Prize giving:
The first 6 riders will requested to attend prizegivings. Mounted for Long Format Classes, Unmounted for Short Format Classes.

Catering:
Enjoy a catering on site every day (morning, noon and evening) in the arena side marquee & The Coach House Restaurant by evening. The Bar will be open nightly and is located in The Coach House Restaurant.
