Millstreet International Horse Show 2025 Unveils Ireland’s Richest Young Horse Prize Fund

Following on from the success of Millstreet International Horse Trials in June, Millstreet International Horse Show CSI2* returns to the iconic Green Glens Arena from July 23rd to 27th, 2025, offering five unmissable days of top-class sport, vibrant atmosphere, and a total prize fund exceeding €200,000.
Now in its 52nd year, the show continues the legacy started in 1973 by founder Noel C. Duggan. Over the decades, Millstreet has welcomed the world’s best riders and become a cherished tradition for generations of Irish equestrian families.
In 2025, Millstreet further cements its role as Ireland’s premier young horse showcase, unveiling an unprecedented €97,000 in young horse prizemoney — with no deductions and no vouchers.
Young Horse Prize Fund Highlights:
- 🐴 3-Year-Old Young Irelander – €6,000
- 🐴 4-Year-Old Discovery – €15,000
- 🐴 5-Year-Old Millstreet Ruby Championship – €28,000
- 🐴 6/7-Year-Old Boomerang Championship – €38,000
- 🐴 4/5-Year-Old Event Horse Discovery – €10,000
Some young horse classes are proudly supported by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) and the Horse Sport Ireland Breeding Grant Initiative, helping to spotlight Irish breeding excellence at the international level.

Additional highlights of the 2025 schedule include:
- 🔹 9 FEI classes, including two Longines FEI World Ranking competitions
- 🔹 National, Amateur, Mares-only, and many more.
- 🔹 The ever-popular Ladies 1.10m class, with exclusive prizes.
- 🔹 A Saturday evening spotlight on National Discovery classes in the Main Arena
