Millstreet Submits Bid to Host 2026 FEI World Eventing Championships U25
Millstreet International Horse Trials is pleased to confirm that a formal bid has been submitted to the FEI to host the inaugural FEI World Eventing Championships for Under 25 riders in 2026. This will be the very first edition of the U25 World Championships, a new concept introduced by the FEI to provide a stepping stone for riders transitioning from youth to senior international competition. Millstreet would be proud to be part of this initiative and hopes to be considered a suitable host for such an important and innovative championship.
Millstreet has a strong track record of hosting international equestrian competitions, including multiple European Youth Championships, Olympic Qualifiers & Nations Cups and continues to build on its reputation as a venue capable of delivering world-class events.
Thomas Duggan, Millstreet said:
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to submit a bid for this championship. Hosting the inaugural U25 World Championships would be a tremendous honour and we hope the FEI will find us to be suitable hosts.”
Further information on the outcome of the bid is expected in November 2025.
