AUSTRALIA

BROOKE DOUGALL

This is a first championship for Brooke, 25, who has been competing in Europe in both eventing and showjumping since 2023. She recently completed Kronenberg and Sopot (at CCI4*-S) on the 19-year-old My Locky.

Brooke has produced My Locky from 1* since 2018; he was bred by her mother Trudy, an EA Level ll general coach and coach educator

Brooke, who has been fund-raising for her trip to Millstreet, left Queensland, Australia in 2022 to work for the Japanese Olympic showjumper Taizo Sugitani at TS Showjumping near Bonn, Germany, where she is now head groom, having worked at the World Championships, Asian Games and Paris Olympics.

LAMOZA VELISHA

Lamoza, 19, made headlines in Australia recently by winning two CCI4*-S competitions in the space of a month, at Ballarat and Werribee, on Call Me Cooley. The pair also won at 3* in March, at Wandin, and have seven other international victories to their name at 3* and 2* level.

Call Me Cooley was bred in Ireland; he came to La’moza in 2024, having previously been competed in England at 4* level by Molly Faulkner.

Lamoza is based at McKenzie Park in Lara, Victoria, where she competes and trains a team of horses, assists with rehabilitation and works on the family farm. She was a member of the Corio Moorabooi and Werribee Pony Clubs who competed in interschools equestrian competitions and was Australian Champion at junior level on Cash, a thoroughbred off the racetrack.

Lamoza, who is currently number 6 in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings, has been fundraising for her trip to Ireland.

AMY ROSE FRŨHWIRTH

Amy Rose, 22, has been an Austrian team member for the last four years on Gin Tonic 150 at Junior and Young Rider European Championships. Their best individual placing was 22nd at the YR Europeans at Montelibretti in 2023.

The partnership, together since 2020, recently completed the CCI4*-S at Chaumont en Vexin and in March won the CCI3*-S at Morghengo, Calignana.

Gin Tonic 150 was previously competed by Austrian senior team rider Harald Siegl. Amy Rose also competes Cassius P at 4* level.

CANADA

KYLE MORTON

Kyle, 23, has been riding Shannondale Gambit since the horse was a 4yo imported into Canada from Ireland in 2017. In 2021, the horse joined Kyle in Germany, where he has been working for seven years.

Shannondale Gambit graduated to 4* level in 2023 and this year the pair was 13th in the CCI4*-S at Strzegom.

Kyle first moved to Germany in 2019 aged 16 to train with eventer Sven Lux. In 2022, he went to work for triple Olympic champion Michael Jung as a home rider and a year later set up his own yard in northern Germany.

CHARLOTTE BORDAS

Charlotte, 22, was the Young Rider European Champion in 2023 riding Firewall Des Aucels Z. She also represented France at this level in 2022, finishing 21st individually on AS Boy de Kappa as a member of the 4th-placed French team.

AS Boy de Kappa, by the top Swiss show jumper Tinka’s Boy, was formerly ridden by Thomas Carlile, Jeanne Chauvel and Seven le Vot, all for France. Charlotte acquired the ride in 2021, taking the horse to 4* in 2024 when they finished 11th at Kronenberg.

Last year, they represented France in the Nations Cup at Avenches. This year they came 9th at Chaumont en Vexin CCI4*-S.

This is a first championship call-up for Noemie, 23.

She has been riding Ascot du Casteras since 2019 and they moved up to 4* last year at Kronenberg, finishing 12th in the CCI4*-S. This year they completed Chaumont en Vexin.

Noemi competes horses for the E.A.R.L. du Casteras stud in Prat-Bonrepaux, Occitanie region, which is run by her father, Jean-Marc Bosc.

Lisa, 23, has represented France three times in Ponies since 2017, winning a team medal each time, including gold at Kaposvar in Hungary in 2017.

She moved up to Young Riders in 2022 and rode at three European Championships, finishing 11th on A d’Aunis at Montelibretti in 2023 and winning team and individual silver on him at Strzegom in 2024.

Lisa has been riding A d’Aunis since 1* in 2020 and they moved up to 4* in 2024, finishing 4th at Kronenberg. They have since completed five more events at 4* and this year won the CCI3*-S at Vittel.

VERANE NICAUD

Verane, 22, is the highest ranked French rider in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings at no 9.

She has represented France three times consecutively in Young Rider Europeans with Baron d’Etat, from 2023-25, twice finishing in the top 10 and as a member of the gold-medal team at Strzegom last year.

In 2023, she took on the ride on Eau Vive de Brenne AA, by the French team eventing stallion Upsilon and previously ridden by French senior team rider Arnaud Boiteau. Verane took the horse to 4* in 2024 when they finished third at Kronenberg. This year they finished 5th at Pratoni del Vivaro CCI4*-L and 7th at Strzegom where they were members of the winning French team in the Nations Cup.

ANN-CATRIN BIERLEIN

Ann-Catrin, who will celebrate her 25th birthday on the Sunday of the Championships at Millstreet, was the Junior European team gold and individual bronze medallist in 2019.

She has been competing Sir Scotty since 1* level in 2018; the horse was previously with Polish rider Malgorzata Cybulska.

Ann-Catrin took Sir Scotty to 4* level in 2021. They completed Boekelo CCI4*-L last year and this year finished 19th in the CCI4*-S at Strzegom.

CALVIN BOCKMANN

Calvin, 25, holds the number 1 spot in the FEI Eventing U25 Rankings.

He made his senior squad debut for Germany last year at the European Championships at Blenheim Palace, where he was not only the youngest rider, but the fastest across country and finished individual 4th on The Phantom of the Opera. Last year he competed at 5* level, finishing 11th at Kentucky in 2025 on Phantom of the Opera.

Calvin is a former Pony European champion, who has represented Germany at all levels. He has won Junior team gold and bronze medals, plus Young Rider team silver, on Altair de la Cense, a horse he has been competing internationally in both eventing and show jumping since 2018. This year, they were 8th in the CCI4*-L at Strzegom.

Both Calvin’s parents, Roger and Simone, competed to a high level in eventing. He was educated at the University of Munster and lives in Lastrup, Germany, where his family, including brothers Jason and Liam, train horses. Calvin also competes in international jumping.

Nicholas, 25, was the 2022 European Rural Rider Eventing Champion in Lausanne with Chintano 7. The partnership has been together since 2017 and has had wins at 2* and 3* level.

Their first 4* was Strzegom in 2024 where they finished 14th. They have also been 10th at Luhmuhlen last year and 16th at Kronenberg this season, both at CCI4*-S.

Carla, 24, was a member of the bronze medal-winning German Young Rider team at the European Championship at Montelibretti in 2023 on Castagnola.

She started competing Castagnola in international competitions in 2019 and they finished sixth in the European Rural Rider Cup in Lausanne in 2022.

They have 3* wins to their credit and started at 4* level in 2024. This year they finished 12th at Sopot CCI4*-S.

LUBISSA LUBBEKE

Libussa, 25, has represented Germany in Ponies, winning team gold in 2016, and Young Riders, winning team gold in 2021 and team silver in 2022 on the home-bred Caramia.

Last year she made her senior debut as a member of the gold-medal team at the European Championships at Blenheim Palace, finishing 26th individually on Caramia. The pair is listed for the senior German squad at the World Championships in Aachen next month.

Libussa has been competing Darcy F since 1* level in 2017; they were 23rd in the CCI4*-S at Luhmuhlen this year.

She is ranked no 7 in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings.

Tom, 24, has completed five 5*s (Badminton twice and Burghley three times) on Cowling Hot Gossip and Rebel Rhyme.

With Lenny, a new ride last year, Tom completed the 8/9yo CCI4*-S at Blenheim Palace in 2025 and was 14th at Bicton and 21st at Bramham this year, both at CCI4*-S.

Tom, who plays hockey in winter and is a Manchester City football fan, lives in Warwickshire where his parents, Fran and John Bird, own and run Cotswold Hills Riding Centre. He is trained by Christopher Bartle.

This is a second squad call-up for Barnie, 23, who was a member of the 5th-placed British team at the 2023 Young Rider European Championships at Montelibretti.

He has produced DHI King Nelson, previously ridden by Amy Woodhead, in international competitions since 2* in 2021, progressing to 4* in 2024.

This year they completed the CCI4*-S at Bramham and won the CCI3*-S at Bicton.

Barnie, a former member of the Cotswold Vale Farmers branch of the Pony Club, was first based with Italian rider Vittoria Panizzon and was then a work rider for Harry Meade. He now runs an equestrian business at his parents’ yard in Worcestershire.

Alice, 24, is ranked number 3 in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings. She is known for some admirably consistent 5* jumping performances with her long-time home-bred partner Topspin, on whom she won team gold and individual bronze at the 2022 Young Rider European Championships at Hartpury.

The partnership has completed nine 5*s, including Badminton (three top 20 placings), Burghley (four top 10 finishes), Luhmuhlen (5th in 2024) and Pau. This year, they have competed at 4*S level, finishing 6th at Bramham and 7th at Belsay.

Alice’s mother Caroline Casburn (nee Sizer) was an international rider who represented Great Britain at the 1994 World Equestrian Games.

This is a first British squad call-up for Cerys, 25, who started riding the Irish-bred Kananaskis in 2024. The pair contested their first 4* at Alnwick last year, finishing 14th. This year they were 20th at Kronenberg and 15th at Bramham, both CCI4*-S. The horse was previously competed by British rider Richard Coney, who owns him.

Cerys, from Honington, Suffolk, works as a trainer of horses and riders and as an equestrian photographer. She has a degree in exercise science and rehabilitation from Keele University.

JESS RIMMER

This is a first British squad call-up for Jess, 23, who has been competing internationally since 2018 and has been based with former British team member and Olympian William Fox-Pitt in Dorset since the autumn of 2024.

She acquired the ride on the Irish-bred The Spice Merchant last year, the horse having been competed previously by South African rider Alexandra Munn. This year the pair finished 15th at Thoresby Park and completed Belsay and Bramham, all at CCI4*-S.

Jess, whose mother Jo Rimmer is an event rider and coach, has a first-class honours degree in biochemistry from Bristol University. She appears regularly as a presenter on Horse & Country TV.

JASMINE UNDERWOOD

Jasmin, 21, is ranked no 5 in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings. She and Indian Girl G have represented Great Britain four times, winning a team medal every time and the individual Young Rider European title in Strzegom in 2024.

In 2022, they were members of the victorious Junior European team, finishing 12th individually. The following year they were 11th, winning team silver. In 2024, it was double gold and their consistent record continued last year with individual 5th place and team bronze in Young Riders at Strzegom.

This year, they started competing at 4*, completing Kronenberg, coming 2nd at Ballindenisk and finishing 9th at their first CCI4*-L, Chaumont en Vexin.

Their partnership goes back to 2021, before which the mare was ridden by British rider Isobel White.

Jasmine, who started riding aged 12, lives in Worcestershire.

NICOLAS MULLER

Nicolas, 22, a sport soldier, has represented Hungary three times at European Championships on Mandoble, starting at Junior level in 2022 when they finished 41st at Hartpury.

In Young Riders, they were 22nd at Strzegom in 2024, when the team finished 10th, and 28th there in 2025.

He has produced Mandoble since 1* level in 2021. This year, they finished 8th in the CCI4*-S at Wiener Neustadt.

GODFREY GIBBONS

Godfrey, 22, is the highest-ranked Irish Rider in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings, at no 10.

He has represented Ireland four times in European Championships, in Juniors in 2022, winning team silver on Milchem Free Spirit, and three times in Young Riders. He was a member of the silver medal team in 2023 on Milchem Free Spirit and again in 2025 on Kilroe Lego Land.

Ballyvillane Obos is a new ride this season; the horse was taken to 5* level by Robbie Kearns. Godfrey won the CCI3*-L on him at Ballindenisk and was 10th in the CCI4*-S at Millstreet in May.

Godfrey has previously worked for British 5* rider Tom Jackson and is now based at Richard Ames’s Belline Estate Equestrian in Co Kilkenny.

JENNIFER KUEHNLE

Jennifer, 24, has represented Ireland since the age of 14 when she won the European Children’s Jumping Championships in 2015, combining both international eventing and show jumping. In 2024, she won the Indoor Derby at the Stuttgart German Masters on Sammy Davis Junior.

In eventing, Jennifer has competed in Pony, Junior and Young Rider European Championship teams, winning three team medals including bronze on Sammy Davis Junior in 2022. She has also ridden in Nations Cups and took the best newcomer award at Boekelo CCI4*-L in 2022.

With Sammy Davis Junior, she has competed at 5*, finishing 8th at Luhmuhlen in 2024. This year, the pair was 13th at Kronenberg CCI4*-S.

Jennifer’s father Hans Kuehnle runs the Tullibards Stud; her siblings Jessica, Brian and the late Benny have all competed internationally.

TOM NESTOR

Tom, 19, has represented Ireland four times, at Pony, Junior and Young Rider level. Three of those European Championships have been with Cooley Diamond Dancer, winning two team silvers, in 2024 and 2025, and a Junior individual silver medal in 2024 at Strzegom.

He took on the ride on Cooley Diamond Dancer in 2023; the horse previously showjumped  in Ireland and in England with British rider Pru Dawes, who started the horse eventing to 2*. Tom and Cooley Diamond Dancer completed their first 4* together this year, at Ballindenisk, finishing 7th.

Tom, whose family lives in Co Kildare. lived in Switzerland until he was 12 and didn’t start riding until he was 13. His father David was a professional footballer who played for Mayo for eight years and his sister Claire now rides the family’s Freddie in Pony classes.

Isny, 22, represented Ireland at the 2024 European Young Rider Championship in Strzegom as a member of the 4th-placed team; she finished in individual 28th place on Vital DK Z.

She has been riding the Belgian-bred Vital DK Z since 2023, clocking up experience on the British circuit and graduating to 4* this year with 21st place at Kronenberg in the Netherlands.

This is a first championship call-up for Maddison, 22, who has been riding the Belgian-bred Vivero DH Z since 2022.

They graduated to 4* last year with 18th place at Ballindenisk. This year they were 22nd at Ballindenisk and 20th in the 3*-S at Millstreet, where they have previously completed both the 2*L and 3*L.

Maddison, who has been riding since she was two, is UK-based and is the resident rider at Hurst Grange Equestrian near Reading, Berkshire.

EDOARDO FORTINI

Edoardo, 23, has represented Italy twice at Young Rider European Championships on Cooley Showtime, winning team gold in 2023 on home ground at Montelibretti, where he finished ninth individually. He was also in the ninth-placed Italian team in Strzegom in 2024, where he and Cooley Showtime finished 33rd. In March, the pair was fourth in the CCI4*-S at Montelibretti.

The Dutch-bred Cooley Showtime (original birth name Emir) was previously competed by Italian rider Lino Paparella and before that by New Zealand Olympians Jonelle and Tim Price.

Edoardo has been competing in eventing since Ponies in 2017 and currently rides several horses in both eventing and show jumping.

Matilde, 25, has represented Italy three times, twice in the Young Rider team on Born West, winning team bronze in 2021 at Segersjo, where they finished 10th individually, and once in Juniors in 2017 on Qilkeny M’Aurea.

This year, she and the French-bred Born West, a horse she has competed since 2017, were ninth at Kronenburg CCI4*-S and third at Pratoni del Vivaro CCIU254*-S.

CHARLOTTE PENNY

Charlotte, 24, has been competing Carousel, a mare first produced by New Zealand team rider Monica Spencer, since 2023 and was sixth on her at Matamata CCI4*-S in February.

She made her 4* debut in 2023 and has also enjoyed success on another mare, Festival, winner of Taupo CCI4*-L in 2024 and the Eventer of the Year title at Hastings CCI4*-S in 2025.

Charlotte, a full-time rider, is based in Karaka, Auckland, and has a degree in commerce from Waikato University.

KATARZYNA BRANDYS

Kataryzyna, 21, has represented Poland twice with Sel Oscar as a team member at Young Rider European Championships, both times in her home country at Strzegom. They were 32nd in 2024 and the team 5th, and last year they came 21st individually with the team 8th.

Recently, Katarynzyna became the youngest Polish rider to win a 4* with victory on home ground at Strzegom; she had the fastest cross-country round of the day on SEL Oscar and rose from 16th place to first. She was also a member of the second-placed Polish team in the Nations Cup.

Also this year, they finished 3rd at Baborowko, clinching the Polish senior national title, and 10th at Strzegom, both at CCI4*-S. Kataryzyna has been riding the Irish-bred Sel Oscar since 2022 in international competition; the horse was originally produced in Britain to 2* level by J-P Sheffield,.

PAUL BORRAS SAUDER

Paul, 21, was a member of the Spanish team at last year’s Young Rider European Championships in Strzegom, where the team finished sixth and he was 31st individually on Eclat des Varennes.

He has been competing Eclat des Varennes internationally since 1* level in 2022 in France. This year, the pair made their 4* debut together, finishing 17th at Chaumont en Vexin.

MARCAL PIRO PATAU

Marcal, 22, started riding aged six and later began eventing through a friend of his father’s, the international rider Albert Hermoso Farras. He has represented Spain four times at European Championships, twice at Juniors and twice in Young Riders.

He has been competing internationally with the French-bred Eventing de Fay, including in show jumping competitions, since 2022; they made their 4* debut last year at Strzegom, finishing 17th. This year, they were 13th at Sopot.

AMANDA ANDERSSON

Amanda, 24, made history in 2023 when she became the first female rider to have won the Swedish national titles at both Young Rider and senior levels.

She has been a member of the Swedish team three times, in the 2019 Junior European Championships and the 2022 and 2023 Young Rider European Championships. In 2022, She and Jersey finished 26th individually at Hartpury and were members of the 5th-placed team.

Amanda has produced the home-bred Jersey since 1* level in 2018 and they have represented Sweden on Nations Cup teams. Most recently, they were 3rd in the CCI4*-L at Baborowko

She is based at Falkenberg.

This is a first championship for Felicia, 23, who started competing Una Cardenta at 4* level this season, achieving a 4th place in the CCIU254*-S at Pratoni del Vivaro in May. The partnership was also 18th at Chaumont en Vexin this year.

Felicia has been competing the German-bred Una Cardenta at international level since 2023.

JACK CURTIS

This is a first competitive visit to Ireland for Jack, 23, who recently completed Bramham CCI4*-S with Luska Candy Clover. In the States, the pair finished in the top 20 at Mill Hill and Ocala CCI4*Ss and came 6th at Myakka City, Florida, this spring.

Jack, who is on the USEF Eventing Pathway, has been competing the Irish-bred Luska Candy Clover internationally since 2020.

He is from Beverley, Massachusetts, and started riding at a local riding school. He has now graduated from college and is pursuing a professional career in eventing.

MOLLY DUDA

Molly, 21, is from Menlo Park, California and has been competing in Europe for the last three summers. She recently completed Bramham CCI4*-S with two horses, Disco Traveler and Jutopia.

Molly has been riding Disco Traveler at international level since 2022 (the horse was previously competed by Emily Bradford and Jennie Brannigan) and their successes include 4* wins at Temecula and Woodside in the US in 2024, 18th place at Bramham CCI4*-S and 3rd at Temecula in 2025 and this year 7th place at Mill Spring CCI4*-S (Tryon).

Molly, who first learned to ride at a summer camp, has studied business economics at the University of California and is trained by international rider Tamie Smith. In 2023, she was the RevitaVet USEA Young Rider of the Year after winning the CCI3*-L at the USEF Eventing Young Rider Championships at Galway Downs.

She is at no 19 in the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings.

OLIVIA DUTTON

Olivia, 25, is from West Grove, Pennsylvania, and is the daughter of multiple Olympic rider Phillip Dutton. This will be her third trip to Europe – last year she was a member of the second-placed Nations Cup team at Bicton, finishing 29th on Sea of Clouds, a thoroughbred off the racetrack formerly ridden by her father.

Jewelent, is an Irish Sport Horse also previously competed by Phillip as well as by Ireland’s Clare Abbott, who was twice placed on him at Millstreet. This spring, Olivia was 6th at Mill Spring CCI4*-L and 7th at Elkton CCI4*-S on Jewelent.

Olivia is no 25 on the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings. With her father, she spends the winter on the Florida circuit.

QUIDLEY KELLERMANN

Quidley, 20, is from Texas but came to the UK aged 17 and is based with Australian riders and regular Millstreet visitors Kevin McNab and Isobel English.

Quidley has twice been to Millstreet herself, finishing 17th in the CCI4*-S last year on the Irish-bred Blakeneys Cruise (‘Poncho’), a horse she has produced from BE90.

They were recently 15th and members of the second-placed US team in the Nations Cup at Bicton and last year came 13th in the prestigious 8/9yo CCI4*-S at Blenheim Palace. They have also twice competed at the Young Horse World Championships at Le Lion d’Angers.

In 2022, Quidley was the USEA Junior Novice Champion on Blakeneys Cruise. She ultimately plans to return to the States after gaining valuable competition experience in Europe.

Meg, 21, is from Malvern, Pennsylvania and trains out of Ocala, Florida, and Charlottesville, Virginia, with international riders Will and Katie Coleman. She is a USEF Eventing Emerging Athlete.

Don Dante (‘Al’) was previously 6th at Maryland 5* with Will. Meg took on the ride last year, starting at 3* level and upgrading to 4* with a 7th place at Myakka. This year, they finished 22nd in the CCI4*-S at Lexington.

Meg is the highest-ranked US rider on the FEI Eventing U25 World Rankings at no 15.

CASSIE SANGER

Cassie, 22, already has two 5* completions to their name, having finished 18th on her debut with Redfield Eyre, her second nominated horse for Millstreet, at Kentucky and 17th at Burghley last year.

Cassie has been competing in Europe for three seasons and in 2024 finished 2nd on Fernhill Zoro and 4th on Redfield Eyre in the U-25 CCI4*-S at Bramham and completed Boekelo as a member of the US Nations Cup team.

She was recently 12th at Bicton and a member of the second-placed US team in the Nations Cup on the British-bred Fernhill Zoro, who was previously ridden by Alice Roosevelt in the US having been sold by Carol Gee in Ireland.

Cassie, who is trained in Britain by triple Badminton winner Ros Canter, is from Wilmington, Delaware and is a full-time student of journalism at the University of Richmond.
