About the Championship
The FEI Eventing World Championship U25 2026, Presented by Connolly’s RED MILLS, marks a historic milestone in international equestrian sport as the first-ever world championship dedicated exclusively to under-25 event riders. Hosted at the renowned Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, County Cork, this prestigious event will bring together the most talented young athletes from across the globe to compete at the highest level of eventing.
Taking place from 22–26 July 2026, the championship will showcase the three core disciplines of eventing — dressage, cross-country, and show jumping — testing the skill, precision, and partnership between horse and rider. As a stepping stone between junior competition and senior elite level, the U25 championship represents the future of the sport, highlighting emerging talent on a world stage.
Organised under the authority of the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), the event reflects Ireland’s strong tradition in equestrian excellence and its reputation for hosting world-class competitions. The selection of Millstreet as host venue reinforces its status as one of Europe’s leading centres for equestrian sport.

Competition Format
The championship follows the three-phase eventing format under FEI rules. Competing nations field teams of riders who will contest each of the three disciplines across the week:
- Dressage — riders demonstrate precision, suppleness, and harmony with their horse in the arena.
- Cross-Country — the ultimate test of boldness and endurance across a purpose-built course at Green Glens Arena.
- Show Jumping — the final phase, testing accuracy and carefulness over a course of coloured fences.
